The Grundfos Hydro Solo-E CRIE 5-5 is a fully integrated single pump variable speed booster set designed to provide reliable cold water pressure boosting for domestic, residential and light commercial systems where stable outlet pressure is essential.
The system is supplied factory configured and tested for constant pressure operation, allowing straightforward installation and dependable performance from day one. Delivering up to 9.5m³/hr flow and pressures up to 4.5 bar, the Hydro Solo-E is suitable for properties and systems with fluctuating demand or insufficient incoming mains pressure.
At the centre of the system is a Grundfos CRE variable speed stainless steel multistage pump, fitted with a high-efficiency MGE motor featuring an integrated frequency converter and PI controller. The intelligent variable speed operation automatically adjusts pump performance to maintain constant pressure while improving energy efficiency and reducing system wear.
The booster set is supplied complete with:

The integrated control system includes advanced protection and monitoring features such as dry-run protection, anti-cavitation protection, flow estimation and configurable alarm outputs.
A graphical display and control panel allows easy monitoring and adjustment of operating parameters, while the integrated Grundfos Eye status indicator provides visual indication of operating conditions and alarms.
Communication with the system is also possible using the optional Grundfos GO Remote, allowing access to live operating data and advanced settings.
The Hydro Solo-E can be connected to any Water Byelaw approved cold water storage tank with a suitable AB air gap and is designed to supply boosted cold water to pressurised hot and cold water systems at constant pressure.
