Coming to the rescue of a school
Our engineers were straight in the van and en route to diagnose the problem.
The fault
We quickly identified that there was a failed mechanical seal on a fix speed main heating pump.
Our engineer managed to get a replacement sourced and collected on the same day!
Now the hard work…
We returned to site with a three man team to strip down the pump.
Once stripped down, we found the bearing had seen better days so we set about changing them out.
Job done… a big 11KW seal and bearing changed!
Worth a mention…
All works were completed in 1 day timeframe, this meant the school was able to keep operating without closure.
We received the phone from the caretaker at 07:30 and the pump was repaired and functional by 17:30.
