Critical Booster Set Upgrade at Sheffield Office Block
Background: An unexpected power cut at a Sheffield office block led to significant operational disruptions when two of the three pumps in the booster set failed. Faced with the challenge of a reduced water supply, our client urgently needed a robust solution to restore full functionality.
Challenge: The primary challenge was to upgrade the booster set efficiently and effectively without causing major disruptions to the office block’s daily operations. With only one functioning pump left, the urgency for a reliable solution was paramount.
Solution: NT Cloke Pumps & Water responded immediately to the call. Understanding the critical nature of the situation, our team supplied and installed three new variable speed drives. These drives were selected for their ability to enhance system efficiency and reliability. The installation was strategically executed during a busy workday to ensure minimal disruption to the building’s water supply.
Outcome: The booster set upgrade was a success, with the system returning to full operational capacity quickly.
