Emergency Bypass & Full Upgrade at a Large Home in Nottingham
We were recently called out to a large residential property in Nottingham after the client experienced repeated issues with their water equipment—just days before hosting guests for the weekend.
🔍 Initial Assessment
On inspection, the booster set had failed due to a firmware fault. Even after updating via Grundfos GO, the drive continued to show errors. We also identified a failed pressurisation unit controller that was stopping the entire system from operating.
⚠️ Emergency Bypass
With no water supply available, we quickly installed a temporary mains bypass from stock held in our van—restoring water the same day and easing pressure on the client.
🛠️ Permanent Upgrade
We returned shortly after to install:
- A twin pump booster set
- A twin pump pressurisation unit
All works—mechanical, electrical, commissioning, and testing—were handled in-house.
✅ Outcome
The system is now operating fault-free with full backup redundancy in place, ensuring long-term performance and reliability.
