The Challenge
Our engineers were called to a Birmingham apartment block to replace a worn inlet valve on a cold-water storage tank. Over time, inlets can corrode or fail, leading to uncontrolled flow, overfilling, wasted water, or even contamination risks — all of which can compromise system safety and efficiency.
Our Solution
We carried out a full inlet change to restore proper control and reliability, ensuring the tank operated as designed. While on site, our engineers also performed a complete tank clean and chlorination, bringing the system back to safe, compliant standards. To confirm results, water samples were taken and sent for testing.
The Result
The upgraded system now delivers consistent, safe water flow for all residents. The property manager was provided with post-clean certification and sample results for complete peace of mind.
