More to a call out than just fixing pumps
A call out with a positive outcome for our client
We were called out to investigate why hot water was coming out of the cold water taps.
Upon arrival it was apparent that the water tank had been neglected for quite some time.
The fault causing the problem
▪️The non return valve had developed a fault, this caused the pumps to overheat the drinking water.
The fix
- We replaced the non-return valves.
- Serviced the booster set.
- Cleaned and chlorinated the tank
Samples were also taken to make sure the water was safe to drink, the result came back and confirmed there was no contamination.
