The Challenge
We were called to a large leisure complex in Birmingham after a pump developed a leak within the plantroom.
The issue was traced back to a failed mechanical seal — a common fault, but one that can quickly escalate if not addressed.
Left unresolved, this type of failure can lead to:
- Water ingress into motors and electrical components
- Bearing damage and pump failure
- Unplanned system downtime
- Increased repair costs
Our Solution
Our engineers attended site promptly, diagnosed the issue, and carried out a safe isolation of the system before replacing the faulty mechanical seal.
