The Challenge
Our engineers were called to a large commercial office complex in Nottingham following reports of continuous leaks and flooding within the plant room.
During the inspection, the team identified that the existing weighted Keraflo valve had failed — the mechanism was no longer shutting off the water supply once the tank reached capacity, causing repeated overflow and water damage.
Our Solution
To prevent further flooding, NT Cloke’s engineers:
- Removed the faulty Keraflo valve
- Supplied and installed a new drop-arm ball valve
- Fully reconnected, set and tested the system
This upgrade ensured the tank could once again regulate incoming flow safely and efficiently.

✅ System tested and fully operational
The Result
The new installation restored full functionality and flow control, eliminating the risk of flooding and giving the client peace of mind.
The plant room is now safe, compliant, and running efficiently — a simple but essential fix that prevented major disruption.
