Heating Pump Upgrade: Prioritising Efficiency in Care Homes
When the heating pumps at a local care home reached the end of their lifespan, the team at NT Cloke Pumps & Water sprang into action.
What made this project and our solution special:
Instead of just replacing like for like, the forward-thinking management opted for an eco-friendly solution: energy-efficient inverter-driven pumps.
Here’s what we did:
Swiftly removed the old, direct online pumps.
Seamlessly installed the new energy-efficient units.
Given the absence of a BMS in the plant room, our adept engineers programmed the units using their Grundfos GO. This ensures the twin pump unit alternates daily, maximising the pump’s lifecycle.Outcome?
The care home’s heating system was promptly restored, ensuring a warm and comfortable environment for all residents.
