The Challenge
Our engineers were called to a commercial site in Wales where the existing Grundfos twin-head heating pump was struggling to maintain consistent performance.
The ageing system was becoming inefficient, noisy, and at risk of failure — particularly concerning with the colder months approaching. The client required a reliable, energy-efficient replacement to ensure continued heating supply and minimise downtime.
Our Solution
After assessing the system, we supplied, installed, and commissioned a Lowara twin-head heating circulator, designed for high efficiency and long-term reliability.
The twin-head design offers built-in redundancy, meaning if one pump head fails, the other automatically takes over — maintaining full operation without interruption.
Our engineers:
- Removed and safely disposed of the existing Grundfos unit
- Installed and commissioned the new Lowara twin-head heating circulator
- Calibrated controls and checked flow and temperature balance
- Verified system operation and efficiency post-installation
