The Challenge
NT Cloke were called to a college site following a sudden power surge that caused significant damage to the PCBs in their old Grundfos control panel. With the unit now obsolete and replacement parts unavailable, the college faced a total loss of water pressure to key areas on site.
Our Solution
Our engineers acted fast to restore supply.
They temporarily set Pump No.1 as a single pump, re-wired the transducer directly into the inverter, and successfully restored the water system to operational status. This provided an immediate fix, allowing the site to function while we prepared a long-term solution.
The Result
Water supply was restored the same day, minimising disruption for staff and students.
Next, we’ll be offering two future-proof options — either a new control panel compatible with existing inverters, or a complete booster set replacement to deliver enhanced reliability and energy efficiency.
