The Challenge
Our engineers were called to a Leicester apartment block after the onsite cleaner discovered water leaking from the plant room.
Upon inspection, the NT Cloke team quickly diagnosed the issue — one of the system pumps had a failed mechanical seal, allowing water to escape and pool across the floor.
With the system critical to the building’s water supply, a fast, efficient response was essential to minimise downtime and disruption to residents.
Our Solution
To restore full operation, our engineers:
- Isolated and drained the affected pump
- Stopped the active leak and wet-vacced the plant room
- Sourced a replacement seal overnight to prevent extended downtime
- Completed a full onsite strip-down, seal replacement and reassembly the next day

✅ Pump fully tested and recommissioned

The system was back online and fully operational within 24 hours — both pumps now running efficiently and leak-free.
