A Hydrovar Replacement at a Dudley Apartment Block by an NT Cloke Apprentice
We recently responded to a service call from a block of flats in Dudley, where the alarm box indicated a fault. Our investigation revealed that the Hydrovar on pump no.3 had failed.
Under the hands of our apprentice, the faulty Hydrovar was electrically isolated, tested and then replaced. The process involved:
Disconnecting the failed Hydrovar.
Supplying and fitting a new unit.
Completing all necessary rewiring.
Setting up, programming and rigorous testing to ensure optimal performance.
This project not only restored the building’s pump system but also highlighted the capability of our training program, empowering the next generation of engineers with real-world, hands-on experience.
