RPZ Valve Replacement at Leeds School
During a scheduled annual service at a school in Leeds, our engineers identified a failed RPZ valve. Internal components had deteriorated, causing the valve to fail its compliance test.
🛠 What We Did
- Removed the faulty combination check and relief valve
- Supplied and installed a new unit, including Check Valve No.2
- Reassembled, carried out a full retest — and the valve passed
💡 Why It Matters
RPZ valves are legally required to be tested annually, with test results submitted to the local water authority. These valves are essential for preventing backflow and protecting the main water supply.
