Pressurisation Unit Upgrade – Leicester School

The Challenge
NT Cloke Pumps & Water were called to a local Leicester school after the existing pressurisation unit failed, affecting the building’s heating and water systems.
The client needed a reliable replacement installed quickly — ensuring minimal downtime during the school term.
This project also provided an opportunity for one of our apprentices, Karn, to gain real on-site experience under senior supervision.
Our Solution
Our engineers attended site to remove the faulty unit and install a new Mikrofill 3 pressurisation unit, ensuring full compliance and reliable performance.
The works included:
- Safe isolation and removal of the old unit
- Supply, fit and connection of the new Mikrofill 3 system
- Full commissioning and setup
- Performance testing and certification
- Apprentice Karn shadowing and assisting throughout installation
✅ Faulty unit removed
✅ New system installed and commissioned
✅ Apprentice hands-on learning achieved
The Result
The new Mikrofill 3 unit is now fully operational — providing consistent pressure management and protection for the heating system.
The school’s facilities team now have a reliable, efficient solution, installed and signed off to NT Cloke standards.
It was also a great development milestone for Karn, who demonstrated growing confidence and skill in live installation work.
