Boxing Day Emergency Call-Out – Booster Set Repair & Water Restoration
The Call
On Boxing Day, our team received an urgent call from one of our existing customers reporting no water on site. With the site relying on a booster set to maintain supply, the loss of water posed an immediate operational risk — especially on a bank holiday when alternatives are limited.
The site reported a fault showing on the booster set control panel, and water supply had completely dropped out.
Our Response
Thanks to our existing relationship with the client and detailed system knowledge, we were able to respond quickly and decisively.
After reviewing the fault information provided by the site, our engineers identified the likely cause and collected the required replacement parts directly from our workshop before returning to site without delay.
What We Found
On arrival, our engineers confirmed a failed control board within the booster set, preventing the system from operating correctly and cutting off water supply entirely.
